What they have in common

None of the brands we checked publishes a change-of-mind return or refund policy for its cars. Every one publishes a warranty, and six of the eight mention the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law in their own published material.

That’s the part that matters when a car goes wrong. The guarantees apply to a car sold by a dealership whatever the warranty says, and they can carry on after it ends. Can I get a refund on a car and out of warranty, still have rights? cover how that tends to work.
